In 1998 RDA and Jan Taug of Oslo, Norway developed Core AS, a consulting and training resource for organizations throughout Europe.
CORE AS is a Scandanavian-based action research network that helps governments, organizations and businesses develop systems and business models based on intangible capital forms to increase innovation and growth.
CORE facilitates the process of identifying capital forms embedded in organizational activities and helps develop a business and governance model that captures the uniqueness in your organization. CORE facilitators help organizations develop training programs that tie intangible capital forms and the models to strategy, innovative processes and overall value creation. The focus is on how you use the intangible capital forms you have and how you can increase your intangible capital formsâ ROI.
CORE helps organizations link their models to the reporting guidelines developed in the EU, the OECD and Finance Analyst Associations, making the organization more transparent and better positioned to attract ideas, talents and capital. CORE also follows task forces in the US, especially the AASB (American Accounting Standard Board) and SEC (Security Exchange Committee) and their work on intangibles and reporting. With an experienced team, CORE can help you communicate the uniqueness of your organization and its capital forms to internal and external stakeholders. A CORE capital report includes descriptions of financial and non-financial capital forms; a sustainability report; and social and environmental activities in which the organization is involved.
