Leadership Development
While it is commonly believed that leaders are born, not made, RDA helps leaders improve their leadership skills and enhance individual, team, and organizational performance through assessments, mentoring, facilitation and coaching.
Executive Coaching
RDA provides coaching services to professionals, managers and executives. Key leaders work with a confidential coach to define goals and outcomes. Results benefit the individual (client) and the organization (sponsor). The process is designed to handle extremely sensitive, complicated and/or personal issues. Our coaches work closely with the client, providing support, practical guidance, and expert training.
Coaching provides a thorough exploration of the client's situation and opportunities, for more informed and appropriate decisions. While the client and coach determine realistic goals, the preferences and/or concerns of the sponsor are fully addressed.
RDA’s individual, confidential coaching in a supportive environment develops highly motivated leaders who become more intensely committed to their roles and responsibilities, enhancing their ability for:
- Goal setting and action planning
- Effectively addressing isolated performance problems or detrimental behavior of an otherwise valuable leader
- Developing alternatives to costly termination of qualified professionals due to performance, style or "fit"
When appropriate, RDA conducts a workshop based on the Dimensions of Leadership Profile™. Participants assess leadership from three vantage points: (1) the participant as leader, (2) another person as a leader, or (3) leadership needs of a situation. Assessing these aspects often reveals individual qualities to be further developed.
This interactive workshop gives participants opportunities to experiment and practice new techniques. Leaders learn to be more focused, productive and energized; and learn how to model and transfer these skills to their work teams.
